A Couple Of Birdies

I decided to get my camera out again a couple of days ago, and whilst still not overly happy with the result, they are better than previous attempts. A pity I couldn’t get closer to these. These photos are cropped as I was quite a distance off.

I couldn’t resist this little cutie when it flew through the fence and onto the tree beside me. A pity I couldn’t get a clearer shot. This has been cropped as there is a lot of greenery around the edges of the bird. Click on the image for a larger photo.

A Few Photos

Top left is the constellation Orion

Bottom is a tug showing what he can do with a spray of water. A pity I didn’t get the two tugs at once, they were spraying in unison.

 

Photo of the Week 2015 – Week 51

I forgot to post this last week. I know I was going to, and then one thing led to another and it was Christmas.

This little monster had managed to find its way up the river and park near a bridge. There was a woman near me when I started taking photos of this seal, and she told me that when it saw a fish, it would move so fast, it was unbelievable. I went back a couple of days later and it had gone. The RSPCA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) had been in contact with the vets around the corner and it has been taken to the seal sanctuary round the coast slightly.
