The Nearly Made Its

These photos nearly made it. Well, the ducks nearly made it. Two of the other photos I wanted to show the size of the Apothecary from a couple of days ago and to show what the other building was that I purchased. I held the tape measure so you can see the size of the buildings.

I wanted to use the duck as the photo of the day yesterday, but I used a very similar one last month and didn’t want to use two together in a row.

The clouds are untouched except to add my name which I think I will stop doing anyway as nobody is likely to pinch them.

Time For A Moonie

Yesterday, I posted a photo of the moon and over the last few days I have been asked about how I photograph it. Rather than answer in comments, I thought I would do a post to explain settings and such-forth and so-like.

When I take the photos of the moon, the first thing I always do is fit the camera to my tripod. It is a lot easier keeping the camera steady when you are not holding it hehe. I also set the camera to take photos with the wireless remote control. Although if I am not sure where I have put the remote, I set the camera on a timer. That way, there is no sudden jolt on the taking of the picture.

I also take photos with different shutter speeds and ISO settings.

Here are a few with the ISO settings and shutter speeds. The first six are dusk, with the next four being dark.
