Brian Blessed, Geraldine McEwan, Christian Slater, Alan Rickman, Nick Brimble as well as Sean Connery, Morgan Freeman and Kevin Costner. The film is about a man (Costner) who is captured while in a foreign land in the 12th century. He escapes with the aid of a man (Freeman) who promises to stay by his side until he has saved his life. They come back to Britain to find his lands have been taken by the person (Rickman) who oversees the county. He then enlists the aid of several other men and women to overthrow the man in power and help the peasants of the area. The song is set in the area that the film was made and stayed at number one of the UK Singles Chart for seven weeks, and number one of the Billboard Hot 100 for nine weeks.
