Row, Row, Row Your Boat

One of the things I photograph regularly is the local rowing club. I either stand on my balcony and take the photos, or go onto the beach. It amazes me the strength they have in their legs and their arms to do this regularly.

    • I do. It’s incredible. They will be out at 9am on a Sunday morning. By which time the swimmers will have already been in the sea for a couple of hours.

  1. They are usually very dedicated .. I think they probably have to be out in all weathers . Nice captures Alastair . You see so much from that balcony of yours 😉

    • Thanks Poppy. Yes, they are out in the dark as well sometimes. It’s amazing what I can see from my balcony. A couple of weeks ago, the road was shut at 2:30am, there were three police vehicles and they were pulling something out of the water. I didn’t see what it was, and there was nothing on the news.

    • Haha yes it does. I took a photo earlier in the year when they were rowing in high winds and it looked like there was no scull at all
