Over the last couple of days, I have been photographing trees. I had the idea of making a post from them. I don’t mean the kind of post you get from chopping down trees and attaching a fence to them. I mean this post. One with trees and not from trees.
I decided to take a photo of the trees on the top of the cliffs today. I did try to take one of the tree growing out of the cliff, but it didn’t come out too well. There was too much colour so it was swamped into the background
Today. I went Christmas shopping with my sister and my mum in the Outlet Centre in Ashford. It is a shopping centre that has all branded goods at up to 60% off the retail price. It can save a load of money when you have teens who are very fashion conscious. It doesn’t belt the pocket quite so much, although I still think I overspent a bit and I have another couple to get yet. Whoops.
I didn’t take my camera with me today as I knew there would be no real opportunities to take any photos. So when my sister was checking on her ponies just before we left, I took a couple of photos with my iPhone.
Okay so I suppose some of you want to know what happened today when I went to apologise to girl who I may or may not have embarrassed yesterday.
Well, when I went in there, the other woman who was there said the “pretty young girl” was at lunch at the time, so I went back later. I queued up – as I had brought a couple of bits. I won’t say what in case my kids see this as they are part of their Christmas presents – and the other woman served the person behind me telling her that I wanted to see Becky (as her name badge said). I did apologise for embarrassing her, or saying I shouldn’t have and she said I was fine. Phew. So I can go back in there again. Which is a bonus as they are the best book shop in town.
