Photo of the Year 2015 – Reminder

If you haven’t voted for the Photo of the Year yet, then there is still time. When you vote, your email address is added to a list and goes into a draw where you could win a physical print of the winning image. When you have chosen, I will change the month to VOTED and add it to the voting list. This way, only I know which photo is winning and can’t influence the voting.

Just say in the comments which you would like to vote for. Until the voting is over, comments will be held in moderation so they don’t slip through.

Photo of the Year 2015 – Voting Opens

This year, because I took a few months off, I couldn’t do the usual voting for the Photo of the Month, so my son and daughter chose the photos they preferred in each month.

As I have done in the last couple of years, I am opening voting for the Photo of the Year. Each person who votes has their name entered into a draw, and the winner gets a print of the Photo of the Year.

Please state in the comments which one you prefer, I will mark it down, and then I will scratch it out with VOTED so no one else knows which one has been picked. This also means that until the voting is over, all comments will be moderated so nothing gets through.

Voting will stay open until January 21^st. I will also post another couple of these.

2016 Calendar

Last year and the year before, I did the Photo of the Month and allowed people to vote for them. Because I was away for a good six months, I have had my daughter choose the photo each month and these have gone into the 2016 calendar. The only difference is November and December which were the photo of the month in 2014.

If you want a copy of the calender, they are £6.99 plus postage which varies country to country and state to state.

Photo of the Year 2014

With nine votes, this was Photo of the Year 2014. I love the detail on it. The fact that it looks like a moon circling a planet. The colouring is exquisite, and I think it is a deserving winner. When I saw this, I thought it would definitely be a contender for the Photo of the Year. Thank you to everybody who voted, There can only be one winner from the draw, and that was:
