A couple of days ago, my son asked me if I could take a photo of one of his figures. Seeing as I am still in pain today, I thought I would. He loves Alien vs Predator, so he brought this figure a few months ago.

My sister, my son and my sister’s sons all went out to a nature reserve today. It’s a place that was built up from all the stuff they pulled out of the Channel Tunnel when they built it. It’s called Samphire Hoe. I can tell you, it is not a good idea at all to go there when the temperature is around the freezing mark 0oC (30oF) It is completely open with nothing to block the wind. You felt every part of the chill factor which at one point was as low as -13oC (8oF) We are going to go back again when the weather has warmed up a bit and we have some feelings back into our fingers and hands again.

As I was leaving my home today to take my nephew back to his mum, he mentioned what it looked like outside. One of the neighbours had a coal fire and the smoke was dropping down. As it was, the sun was shining through in rays and I thought it looked quite pleasant.
