I have been hoping to capture a shot of a butterfly for a while I was happy when this one landed and decided to stay put long enough for me to take some shots of it.

I was hard pressed with what to choose for my photo of the week this week as I wasn’t keen on a great deal of the ones I took, and I used my decent ones for a daily challenge which go onto my Facebook page which you can see on the left – A Mixed Bag of Photos. I went for this one though as I love the way the red stands out.
