Remember To Duck
As I was out today, there were some ducks playing in the water, so I decided to take some photos of them. Earlier in the day though, a wasp was in the house, and I had to get rid of it because Sully was chasing it around and I had visions of it stinging the inside of his mouth. So whilst it was under the glass, I took the opportunity to photograph that. As you do. Or is that just me? I did let it go afterwards though and it flew off. Then there were the lovely cloud formation.
My First Photo Of The Day from 2012
I first started doing the Photo of the Day in January 2012 where I was using a GE HZ1500 and I was taking photos of anything and everything, posting photos that really should not have been the Photo of the Day, like my son’s injury. my daughter’s cooking, out of focus and uncontrolled long and open shutter shots. A couple of the photos were taken on my phone which at that time was a HTC Desire. I am glad to say that I have improved since then. I made two videos of the first two months, so I thought I would share them again. January is five minutes long and has the song Africa by Toto as an accompaniment, February has Pat Benatar with Hit Me With Your Best Shot and is just under three minutes.

Photo of the Week: Week 27
I took this during the week with my Samsung Galaxy Note 3. It is my Sigma 70-300 lens for my Nikon D3000. I was impressed with the reflection and the clarity. I also liked the angle, so I now use it as the wallpaper on my phone.
