Life Is Like A Butterfly

The other day, I went to collect something from my daughter’s school and as I was walking down an extremely steep hill, I had to stop. One of the reasons I started taking photos is because if someone just stops in the road, people will ask if they are alright. If someone stops and starts taking photos, they are ignored. So I stopped and looked around for something to photograph. There was a butterfly, and although I posted one photo last week of it, it wasn’t as close-cropped as these are.

June Was Not Their Month

This last week, I have been out and about with my camera (there’s a surprise) and I feel I have taken some of my best photos to date. I had to ask my daughter to choose which should be my photo of the week. I finally managed to get it down to two, one of the butterfly ones and the one that made it. I love all of these. The magpie about to leap from the fence was one that I particularly liked as well. The roses with the clouds, I stood at an angle so I took the shots from blow sa as to not capture any buildings in the backgrounds.

A Photo A Day … September 02 2013

I was spinning in circles earlier, trying to focus on a dragonfly, but they move very fast. Unfortunately, I think it may have ended up as a mascot on one of the lorries that went through. It went to the road as the lorry went past then it … wasn’t there any more. So this was second best.
