I went out to see about taking photos of the sunrise this morning. I looked over to the Western Docks, and I saw what was either a very low sea mist or evaporation. The “mist” didn’t climb to the beach, it just stayed on the water which is what gives me the impression that it is evaporation.

Night And Day
A couple of heavenly bodies took my attention last night and this morning. I was tempted to use either or both as my photo of the day, but ended up using a dawn shot instead. The moon was late last night, and I love the composition of the clouds in the sunrise. It’s just a shame that the street light cut the sun in half. If I had waited any longer, I would have lost the shot.
Clouds of Grey
The young lady, behind the mask of abuse, said to me that she wouldn’t mind seeing the photos from the last post in black and white. So I have taken all of the said photos and converted them to monochrome. I quite like what it has done to them.
Clouds and Clouds of Colour
When I take photos of clouds, I always put them through PhotoShop as I feel that clouds on their own are very boring and plain. If they are storm clouds, then they are darker and have their own colouring. When PhotoShop “Auto Tones” the photo, it can have different effects to the colours depending background colours and anything else that is on the photo. Here are twelve photos. Six are the originals, with the auto-toned directly below them. Some have barely any effect to them, whilst others become dramatic.
