I was surprised with this as the winner. It was streets ahead of the competition. It was the only photo to break into double figures. This is the eighth photo to be in the photo of the year.

Second place had just one more vote than the third place quintet. This is a stunningly gorgeous Bengal Cat that belongs to a family of friends of mine.

Okay, so this was a very difficult decision for me. There weren’t so many people who voted this time for the photo of the month. In third place, five photos tied. so I had to choose one. I had predicted that 14th and 25th would be the front runners. As it happens, these were two of the ones tying for third.
