Sunday Photo Fiction – Listening in

Every week a photo is used as a prompt to create a story in around two hundred words using the picture as the basis of the story. The image could be the main focal point of the story, or it could be just one word in the background.

If you want to have a go, then click on the Sunday Photo Fiction image below, and if you want to read what others have written, then click on the blue image with the frog on it.

What are you doing out at 3 in the morning? You were supposed to be home at midnight.”
I got carried away and didn’t notice the time. I’m on my way home now

No, you are not going to have a pet.”
But muuuuum…”
No, and you can tell your dad I said no as well

I love you, you know that right?”
I love you as well … and … you’re going to be a dad

I’m sorry, I can’t take any more of this. I am ruined.”
Look, it may seem like that now, but this could be a blessing
How? I’m bankrupt!”
I never fell for you for your money

… and you can tell that worthless piece of …
No, tell him yourself. He’s on his way to yours now. If I were you, I’d start running
He doesn’t scare me. I can take care of myself.

Take your clothes off for me and let me see you…
But what if my mummy walks in

Gotcha! Geoff had been working the phones for weeks trying to find the paedophile. He checked the address and grabbed his baseball bat.

  1. Interesting way to tell this story. Through bits of conversation almost text messages. Glad they caught the guy!

  2. I keep getting these pop up messages that say “Do you know that anyone can see what you are doing on your computer?” – I think they don’t care what I’m doing because they might be hacking governments or banks. So I think I’m safe.

There is a new dating commercial going around where you can see your ‘Match’ might have passed you by at the art museum. Really. Well yeah, smart phones do have GPS. But I don’t want that. I have a not so smart phone that I only turn on when I want to use it!

And so I guess your guy, if he has the right equipment can find the bad guy. But will a bat be enough?

    • I think you may have a piece of malware there. You can download a program called Malwarebytes. It’s free and you run a scan for it to find malignant software and isolate it ready for removal.

Haha those match commercials are ridiculous. Who on earth acts like those on a first date?

      • I get regular scans…99% come up clear. and the one that didn’t just asked if it wanted me to get rid of the problem – so I said yes. And it did. Hubby likes his security programs. 🙂

Yeah, about meeting the love of your life…if they are where you are all the time maybe they are stalking you! Esh!

        • Haha yep. One of the commercials over here, the girl gets out of a taxi and her skirt is caught in the car. It drives away, ripping it off. So the man she is going to meet rips his t-shirt. I don’t think a ripped t-shirt is going to draw quite as many stares as a woman with no skirt.
