We want things. We always want things. Whether it be the latest gadget, the latest car, the latest this, the latest that, or even to have an older version of this or that. When we get it, we are happy. But would we be happier if we didn’t get it? Sometimes, yes. Imagine you want the latest car. You get it. You pay out for the vehicle, you pay for the tax, the insurance, the fuel. People asking you to take them places. Your time for yourself or your family reduces. Now imagine you don’t get the latest car and you are stuck with public transport. You can go by bus, taxi, tram, train, any other form of something or other. But whilst in that form of transport, you have time to do other things. read a book, answer calls, make calls, do a bit of work. Sometimes you are better off with not getting what you want. Sometimes not getting it is what you need.
I hope you have a good week.
