Fast & Furious star Paul Walker died yesterday in a single car accident. The Porsche he was in appeared to lose control and impact a tree, bursting into flames killing Walker and the other person in the car.
Paul Walker loved to drive race cars, and did a lot of his stunts himself.
My thoughts are with his family and his daughter.
Safe journey to spirit go with both victims of this sad accident. May their families know the strength to bear the loss
Not much I can add to that. I think Vin Diesel said it really well when he said “Heaven has a new angel”.
He and Charlton Heston can discuss driving. After all, Heston played Moses, and “Moses came down the hill in his Triumph”
ha ha

So sad Al. I saw the whole thing on TV, the burning car and yes the guy must have been over the limit, way beyond it. You would think that fame would come with some circumspection, but no. Anyway, I should not judge him. May he and Paul Walker rest in peace.
Unfortunately he has been judged. It’s unfortunate that something like this has to happen to make people think “maybe I should slow down”
Just read this! So sad!!! I love Fast and Furious films, watched it all… may their soul rest in peace…
I do. My son was devastated.
Yes, it’s sad. But, the driver of the Porsche had to be traveling extremely fast because, not only did the car practically incinerate upon impact, a portion of it plowed through the window of a nearby building. It was actually some distance, so you know that thing was moving. This was on a city street; not a closed race track. What if the Porsche had plowed into a row of cars, or a crowd of pedestrians? Surely, some bystanders would have been killed! It’s an awful tragedy, but some people just have no respect for basic traffic laws and their fellow citizens. Now, some kids don’t have their fathers.
I know that the driver’s 8 year old child to pull him from the wreckage. I didn’t want to say that they were obviously pushing the car to the limit in the post, but yes, they must have been doing well in excess of 100 to have gone that far through the tree. The car was nearly ripped in two.
So sad. May he & the other person in the car that died rest in peace.
The sickening thing is, one of the newspapers online over here has published the video of the coroners taking them out of the car. Some companies have absolutely no respect. The other driver’s 8 year old son tried to pull his dad from the burning car 😦
RIP Paul Walker. FFF would not be the same wo him.
No it won’t. Him and Vin Diesel were the only ones who could make it
I loved his movies, i couldn’t believe it when my daughter told me this morning. I feel for his daughter and family.
I do. I was stunned. I saw on Jueseppi’s blog at the same time as I received a text from my sister. One of the national newspaper sites over here has the video of the emergency services pulling the bodies from the car. I think that is just sick.
I agree with you Al, it is very sick, I mean, how will his family feel if they saw that. Sometimes I feel that the news media of the world just don’t care.
They don’t All they are interested in is the money. It sickens me.
Ditto!
I really liked hi. Strange to say but it seems the right way to die for a car obsessed race loving man! too early though!
It was. When I read it on Jueseppi’s blog, I had to check as I didn’t believe it. He has said that Walker wasn’t the driver, he was the passenger. I wonder if the driver was trying to show off to him.
I didn’t want to post the photo of the car as it looked horrendous. The tree cut the car in two.
I know I saw, terrible and he was so young, what a waste!
He was. The guy who was driving was also a racing driver. So sad.
