A Bird On The Land …

I was going to try for something like “A bird on land is worth three at a push” but decided against it.

These photos are ones that I took a few days ago when I went to Kearsney Abbey with my sister. I did take photos of the swan coming in to land, but the focus was wrong and it just looked like a white smear. Of course, I also had to include a seagull. It wouldn’t be me if I didn’t.

    • Thank you AJ. I love being there as there are so many birds around and they will take the food out of your hands. It is one of the most gorgeous places here.

  1. Very beautiful photos, Alastair! Are you a professional photographer! Congratulations!
I love the photos! Thank you for sharing!
Have a wonderful evening, Alastair and a new exceptional week! 🙂

  2. Lovely shots! I love water foul..we’ve got some fine ducks and swans here as well as gulls and coots, but outside of the ducks and sometimes the swans, my camera just isn’t up to getting a really good shot of them. Thanks for the share!

    • Thanks Karen. Glad you enjoyed them. There are so many that I wanted to post, but didn’t want to flood them. Having trouble enough getting visitors to my blog at the moment, so want to keep the few remaining that I do have
