Awards Post

I would like to thank everybody that has given me awards over the last year. I am truly grateful. The fact that some people find my blog worthy of awards is simply wonderful.

However … I have very little time on my hands any more, so I would like to say that although I appreciate the awards, I cannot accept them  as I do not have the time to write the posts or pick other blogs to post them to.

I hope you all understand this, and I hope you don’t see me as being rude. I’ll be putting the image that I have on my other blog on here as a reminder. Thank you all for thinking of me and my blog. I truly appreciate it.

Thanks for understanding.

  1. Alastair, totally understood and nothing at all rude about your post. While the awards are wonderful gestures, they are definitely very time consuming! Too often lateness in acceptance is commonplace because of time.

  4. Gosh – I know the feeling. It can be quite overwhelming. I might do the same. I need to create one of those signs to post. Again – for sanity sake! 😯
