I Brought This

I brought this photo off of another blogger – Damn Que Mala – who has a Society 6 shop. She takes truly magnificent photos. I would love to be able to take them half as good as she does. Maybe one day I will. She asked of she could see it when it arrived, so I have taken a photo and plastered her name across the centre as you never know what rapscallions can come across the photos randomly and steal them to print. I trust the bloggers who read my blog not to do it as you all know the hard work that goes into it all. It’s the people who find the pages through Google. take a look at this, and then go look at her blog. You won’t be disappointed.

  1. This is a beautiful photo and so kind of you to feature another blogger’s work. And you underestimate your skill behind the lens. πŸ™‚

  2. Thank you SOOOOO much for sharing the print! I’m very flattered that you chose to do so, not only with me, but with all of your wonderful followers!!

For those of you who are curious, I happened to find that beautiful butterfly dead, but still ever so stunning, in a train station in New Jersey & the photo was taken with an iPhone 4s.

I’d also like to state for the record, that I love your work as well Alastair! You are too humble where you talent is concerned but that is a rare quality πŸ™‚

Thanks for all of your support!!!

  3. The photograph is most excellent Alastair and it is a shame that copyrights have to be added, somewhat spoiling the presentation and yet necessary in the world of Internet thievery 😦

All we can do is add our copyright
and hope that our work is not stolen.

There is a funny story attached, funny and not so funny in the sense that a script was stolen from me some years ago whilst networking at another site, the script in question was a jovial tongue-in-cheek affair that ended up on one of those ‘Swinging’ sites, I followed the footprints, cyber footprints as it were and found it amidst nakedness and the like, as I said, it is a funny and not so funny happening but at least the thief did not add their own name to my script so that was something positive I guess? πŸ™‚

Have a wicked evening my friend…
