It’s Not All Bad

The new week may have started, but nothing is ever truly bad. Nothing bad can last forever. If you are feeling down, search your memories for something good that happened and grab a hold of that. Maybe your wedding (or divorce); maybe the birth of your son (or daughter); your first kiss with a loved one; the day you passed a test. Grab a hold of that, and smile. Share a smile with someone. When they smile back, it makes it worth it. And always remember … YOU ARE NOT ALONE.

This first one, I spotted from Otrazhenie‘s blog and was told I could use it. So thanks Otrazhenie.

  1. Greetings Alastair! I found your blog by way of my dear friend Skye (thesanctuaryofmyheart). This is the very first post I came to and I love it–the words are just what I needed to hear today! I am now following your blog and I look forward to reading more and especially seeing your photography that I have heard so much about.

  2. wise and wonderful sentiments to make a crappy Monday slightly better. Having said that getting up at half two does put a dent in the badness of the day, ha!

  3. My sweet friend, I have nominated you for the Shine On Award! Congratulations! Please visit this link: transcendingbordersblog.wordpress.com/2013/06/10/shine-on-award/

  4. Thanks for the uplifting messages, Alastair. In this life there are “Givers,” “Takers,” and “Those who Try Not to Bother or Be Bothered” (the latter usually end up in the “Takers” column). You, my friend, are one of the true “Givers.” You bless the rest of us with your “finds.”
