I decided to tempt the seagulls again today. Unfortunately, the photo with two standing beside each other wasn’t clear at all. I like this one though as the seagull is just landing. I was standing in my kitchen taking this.

Still Trying to Figure Things Out
Very cool! I love how the eagle like the wings are!
That’s what I liked about it 🙂
I loved his wings… well captured. Thank you, love, nia
Thanks Nia 🙂
This is an excellent photograph,
captured perfectly and just before
the seagull eats a bit of food that
it has found 🙂
Andro
Thanks Andro. The bread that was accidentally left there 😉
Then it was a fine trap indeed, and
the seagull lived to enjoy his treat 🙂
Andro
Just now I heard a tapping sound. Considering I live on the second floor, I was wondering what it was. Went out and there was a seagull tapping on the balcony door. 😆
Yay! Seagulls! Great action shot. It’s nearly as good as the one you so kindly sent to me and which has pride of place on my FB header.
Cool 🙂 Thanks Duncan
wow, beautiful. this is probably one of your best
Thank you 🙂
Morning from Oz, Alastair! Cool shot…Have a great week..Hugs Paula xx
Thanks Paula. Nice to see you back
What a gorgeous shot! The detail of the wings is magnificent! 🙂
Thanks Penny 🙂 I was impressed with the fact that I caught it at just the right time
Great clarity…one of my favorites. 🙂
Thanks 🙂
that is an amazing shot! one of your best 😉
Thanks Roxi 🙂
Another great shot Alastair. I don’t care what people say about seagulls being dirty, hungry scavengers, I like them! LOL I even love the way they’re game enough to snatch food out of your hand. I’ve been showing my best friend some of your photos and making her homesick. We’ve been friends for 35 years, but she’s from Cornwall, but anything to do with Plymouth or Dover is enough to get her going 😀
😆 I went to Cornwall in 1987. I was going to move there in 1990, but the person I was going to move with left without me. Shape of things to come eh? hehe
Must be something in that bread…lol
I think it must be 🙂
awesome shot, how far a way were you actually?
I was in the kitchen, I should be able to tell you …. oh 😦 It didn’t give the distance with this camera. That’s a shame. It wasn’t too far. About 6-7 feet.
Nice…
Thanks 🙂
Great temptation (I mean “capture)! I shouldn’t be surprised that anyone in the UK has such a gorgeous view of the water, but just what body of water are we seeing? The Atlanic?
No, it’s the straits of Dover. The English Channel
Thanks John
Wow! What a view! Now I can’t get the song “I’m Looking Over the White Cliffs of Dover’ out of my head.
I posted a video a few days ago that I took from my balcony …. [goes in search of it] http://wp.me/pOTN0-1Op There’s two versions. One with music and one without in case the music one doesn’t work in your country
Excellent, your catch! I like seagulls! Excellent picture!
Thanks for sharing, Alastair!
Have a quiet night! 🙂
Thanks Stefania
the season of gulls….I love the wings, they look almost biblical.
They do. Just like the angels 🙂
Yes, that was my thought, but I was worried someone might misunderstand and take offense. But. Just like the Angels.
Love seagulls……This is great, Alastair. ((you know the date on your camera is off, right?))
Is it?
So it is. I took this next year
Your talent amazes me!! 😀
Haha It’s a miracle
