I have been promising to do this for a while, and I finally got around to it today. The other day I was out on my balcony with my video camera and took panorama footage of of the view. I went from west to east and back to west again. You can see France in the distance, as well as numerous seagulls. There are two versions of this video here, one with “What Have You Done” by Within Temptation, and one with no sound. The one with no sound is for when you receive the message “cannot play in your country” or something like that.

Gosh I don’t know how may times I would have driven down that road there … back and forth to the ferry …..stopping to fill up at a BP petrol station I think just before you go in and on return 😉 its been awhile though now .

Yes, as it goes to the left, that is the Eastern docks which has ferries going to France and Belgium

The White Cliffs are behind me. That’s what my rear balcony looks out onto

The white cliffs are France. On a good day, it can be clearer than that and I can can see the odd pylon
OMG! I had no idea you could see France AT ALL from the UK. All those wars between Britain and France were really BACKYARD BRAWLS!

It is wonderful. Then when the weather is nasty, watching the waves coming over the breakwater, seeing mother nature stamping her feet a bit. Awesome

My biggest problem with doing it was that I knew how long it was going to take. I started doing it just before 11.am here. it is now 22:15 So it took nearly 11 hours from creating to uploading.
((counts on fingers to figure out the time))….Ahhhhh. Long time! Well worth it!! 🙂
Where are you and I should be able to tell you? If you are East Coast USA, it is 17:20 there, if you are West Coast USA, it is 14:20, if it is mid USA it should be around 15:20, if you are Canada, it’s 17:20, if you are Australia or New Zealand, it should be around … well, it’s not there, that’s early morning 😆
Sigh…..I am in the USA….East Coast. It is 6:10 pm here…..lol. No military time for me. 🙂
