Alas, the eclipse was over before the Sun went down (and the Moon came up) here in Louisville…
I think it did worldwide
Well the entire eclipse would have been visible from some parts of the world… I don’t know where for sure – I’d say most likely Europe – just not from the US 🙂
I almost forgot…but at around 10:30 pm my time, I attempted to capture the non-pink full moon rising at the front of the house. I had to move a tad to get it out of the neighbors’ tree. I didn’t see any signs of an eclipse.
It will be awhile before I figure out how to get it into the computer. It looks so small…I’m hoping I can play with it and enlarge it a bit.

I noticed how extra bright it appeared to be when I took my dog outside to do what dogs need to do before retiring for the night 🙂
There was no need to put the outside light on it was so light. The police would have been extra busy last night – a full moon tends to bring the weird and the not-so-wonderful out in people.
I never know if the police are extra busy. Because the docks are literally at the end of my road, they are always in and out of there.
A perfect night for Vampire…bats.

Nice! I managed to capture photos of a lunar eclipse on 12/21/10 in which the moon turned red. It was truly breathtaking.

Yes, I will in a post on my blog. I was actually surprised to capture the images. But, my digital camera has a night-sky feature that allows for it.
