There was a couple of these flying around today. Not sure what they are. Ravens? Rooks? Crows? Jackdaws? I know they’re not blackbirds, the beak is the wrong colour.

Daily Prompt: Happy Happy Joy Joy

Daily Prompt 28th March 2013
I have cried tears of joy a lot over the years. I have also cried tears of sadness and, more often than not, tears of pain.
I actually cried tears of joy a few days ago when a dear friend of mine found herself a man. She certainly deserves happiness. I’m not going to say who it is, but she knows. I know she reads this blog so I know she’ll get the message.
She’s been through hell and managed to come through the other side with a fair few emotional scars. So having a bloke who cares for her is the best news I could have had as it makes her happy. Now I just need to find myself a decent woman 😉
New Blog
After the fun I have had with the Friday Fictioneers, I have decided that I am going to create a dedicated blog. One that is for stories that can be written and submitted with one of my photos as the prompt.
All stories will have to be between 200-300 words in length. I was thinking of maybe doing two a week, but overlapping. One going from .. say .. Thursday to Wednesday, and one going from Sunday to Saturday.
If enough people want to do this, then I will create the blog and start it this weekend.

A couple of days ago, my son asked me if I could take a photo of one of his figures. Seeing as I am still in pain today, I thought I would. He loves Alien vs Predator, so he brought this figure a few months ago.
A Mixed Bag
