Cee has given us the reins in the colour we want to use this week, so I am going to cheat slightly and use a shade rather than a colour. A couple of days ago, I went out in a denim jacket and a tee shirt. Then today, I went out in gloves, hat, scarf, and heavy coat and battered by snow. So that is what my photos portray today, including the poor flowers that are attempting to grow out through the snow. All photos apart from the two taken in the last ten minutes were with my iPhone. The last two were from my balcony. Thankfully all vehicles are travelling very slowly.

Can’t believe how much snow you had. We had a tiny bit in London but nothing worth talking about. However, the cold…
Yes, one of my other readers lives in London and she said the cold was almost unbearable. It’s finally popped up to 1°C / 33°F for the first time in days. Although the Real Feel is -12°C / 11°F
beautiful photographs… I hope the weather would be warmer there… Thanks and Love, nia
Thank you Nia. Still cold ans till white
Beautiful photos, Alastair! Those poor little flowers…they probably went into shock with the sudden change in temps. That is what happened here, except we only had the cold, no snow.
Yes, and the teperature dropped even more over night
We also had a lot of snow one day, about 4 to 5 inches, and the next day it was all gone. Nice photos.
BE ENCOURAGED! BE BLESSED!
Thanks … My daughter is hoping that the snow won’t go so she can have the day off tomorrow
Snow comes in many shades, as you say, and each flake is different! Thanks for the ping back.
Thanks and you’re welcome
Beautiful photos! Now that’s a lot of snow!! 🙂
It is. And they didn’t grit the roads

Thanks Yen. You’re welcome 🙂
Ah! Yes, that’s snow! Mine didn’t even qualify as icing sugar! I’ll probably write about it tomorrow unless something better crops up. 🙂 I’ve a lot of catching up to do!!!!!
Just outside taking some more photos now
Will you post them?
Yeah, I’ve just posted a video
I think it’s too cold for snow here.
Just added a photo to that video, Odd how it can be too cold for snow. But it turns into icicles. Little darts that sting
These are great photos. I feel sorry for you and the daffodils (and tulips) that it snowed again. Although your photographs were beautiful!
Thanks Cee. Still snowing out there now. Thankfully the drivers are being intelligent
Very beautiful are the pictures!
Poor daffodils, snow fights! I’m so sorry!
Unfortunately nature is always unpredictable …
Have a wonderful evening, Alastair! 🙂
Thanks Stefania. Yes it is unpredictable.
Nice collection of wintery white!
Thank you Anita. All taken today when it’s supposed to be warmer
