Are WordAds Worth It?

I set up WordAds a while ago as I was told that it was a way for me to make a bit of money just by having my blog. There are some restrictions with having WordAds – you have to have a PayPal account and you have to have your own domain – meaning that you will have to lose the “wordpress” element of your website.

Let me give you a couple of examples. I can use it as I kattermonran.com  I’ll use the next tab that I have open, which is Julia’s Place Julia’s blog is jfb57.wordpress.com so she won’t be able to have WordAds due to still having the wordpress in the address bar.

So I started mine in November,  and waited … and waited … and waited. Every time I checked back to earnings, it told me that I would be told how much I had when it had been checked which would be two weeks after the end of the month.

I finally received my first statement a couple of days ago. In the time that I have had WordAds, I have had about 20,000 page views. The grand total I have earned is …. [DRUM ROLL] … $3.73 I don’t have enough for them to pay out yet. You need to earn $100.

So I am considering removing the ads as it will be three years before I see any of it, and for $100, the ads will just irritate the jeebees out of me.

Destined to meet .. to teach
To learn .. to rejoice .. to know
