My sister is doing the Race For Life which is a women only five kilometre run (or walk) in aid of Cancer Research UK. She has a knackered knee and only one working lung (at less than 100% efficiency) due to Tuberculosis, but she is planning on running the entire distance.
She would be grateful if anyone would be able to sponsor her (even a very small amount) so she can reach her £100 target.
Thank you on behalf of her, and her sponsor page is here.

Al! I FINALLY managed to get this done. Sorry it took longer than promised. The first time I tried it, it was rejected. =/ But that’s settled now. Hope your sister reaches her target soon. And hope she completes the run. I’ll post the link on FB.
Thank you very much Rynna. It’s very much appreciated
No worries. Glad to help. =D
I spoke to my sister, and she asked me to thank you incredibly for your generosity
It’s my pleasure Al.
She is such an amazing person for doing this… When is the closing date for this? I may be able to help over the weekend or early next week… Can she wait till then?
It’s not until June. 🙂 Thank you
Perfect. I’ll see what I can do.
Thank you 🙂
Reblogged this on silentlyheardonce and commented:
As most of you know I don’t reblog. I am this time to help support Alastair’s sister.
Thank you very much 🙂
This is no small task for her. I wish I could help sponser her. I don’t usually reblog but I will in hopes others can donate something.
Thank you very much, I appreciate it, and I know she will
Amazing! What a wonderful thing to do!
It is, A certainly worthwhile cause
Done little. But done!
Thank you Udita 🙂
For my MSc thesis, beginning June, I’m going to try and design instrumentation to measure abnormal oxygen concentrations in cancer cells. This will contribute to trying to inactivate cells that are resistant to treatment and make cancer spread.
That’s how I’ll ‘Stand up to Cancer’ 🙂
Brilliant 🙂
