A Cup of Coffee

Len at MyOwnHeart has invited me for a cup of coffee and ask me a few coffee related questions. Here they are with my answers.

1. How many cups of coffee do you have a day?
I usually have between four and eight coffees a  day.

2. What is your favourite caffeine delivery system?
That would definitely be coffee.

3. What was your best cup of coffee?
I think the best one had to be the one that I had when I moved away from the sociopath.

4. What was your worst cup of coffee?
That would be the one that I had after I realised what the sociopath was like. After she brought me flowers to apologise.

5. What dies your favourite mug say?
I have a few. My Mega Mug says “Top daddy”, “black with sugar”, I love my daddy” and “Coffee”

6. How do you take your coffee?
Black, with two sugars. Unless it is in my mega mug, in which case it is 2 coffees and three sugars.

7. When was your first cup.
I had my first one when I was thirteen and doing Scout Job Week. After I swept a garden, I was asked if I wanted tea or coffee. I asked for coffee and I loved it.

8. Have you ever gone on a coffee or tea date?
Not as such. I used to meet a friend for a coffee every week. But that ended when I decided to let her choose the next date. That was nearly two years ago.

Now to invite a few people to coffee.

  8. what a cute concept for a linking post. Coffee. And I drink mine the same way! Or I did–just recently I am trying to cut back on the refined sugar to see if it helps these old bones any. Now to freshen my mug…:)

  10. I don’t count how many I have in a day but when I take most it is about 4
    Black two sugars.
    I have no recollection when I had my first coffee cup
    I have gone for quite a number of coffee dates

    Tea, though when I was pulling two shifts a day for 19 days Tesco K came in useful. Maybe that’s why I started hallucinating
    Best cup?
    Not sure, but it wasn’t in the US, they’re rubbish with coffee over there
    Worst? In an ersatz saloon in Utah, where the food was supposed cattle trail food. Diabolical coffee. Weak, too cold, bloody awful. The world gun twirling champion dropped his six shooter during his act, so it wasn’t all bad.
    Favourite mug says ‘Made in England’ on the base
    How do I take it? Strong as you like, splash of milk (NOT cream), no sugar, thanks
    First cup? I was about five, round at Mad Auntie Kathleen’s house. Maxwell House instead of Ovaltine. I felt very grown up.
    Ever been on a coffee or tea date?
    Not when the pubs have been open. I invited someone out for a coffee once, and that went badly wrong. It’ll be on my blog soon under ‘How to embarrass yourself part 3.’ It was a doozy, believe me
