This is the main theme from a 2009 mega blockbuster film. The film is an epic with three released versions all around the three hour mark with the Collector’s Edition being 170 minutes. The film stars Stephen Lang, Michelle Rodriguez, Jason Whyte, Scott Lawrence, Zoe Saldana, Sean Anthony Moran, Wes Studi, Sigourney Weaver as well as Giovanni Ribisi and Sam Worthington. The film is about a man who takes the place of his brother who is murdered. When he takes over the mission, he becomes torn between following his orders and protecting a world he feels is home. Worthington plays the main character in the film and when he starts to see what the place he has gone to is like, and he falls for one of the opposition, he sees that the problems are on his own side. If you have not seen it, Avatar is one of the best visual effects films around. The main theme is sung by one of the best known British X-Factor winners.
Leona Lewis – I See You (Song)
Avatar TRAILER
I love anything by Leona Lewis. Have never seen the movie, but love this song.
Avatar is definitely a good things to watch. You have to set aside three hours though
A beautiful movie with a beautiful theme song! I also can only imagine how it would be in 3D as I only have seen it on DVD – yet, glad that I bought it!
I like it that you usually put up a version with lyrics next to the original video. This way non-native English speakers like me have the chance to catch up with what we did not get, before.
Thank you!
I like doing that so that people can see what’s being sung which sometimes are far more important than the song itself. Also, sometimes it is difficult to understand what is being sung or said.
I agree with you, Alastair, and your effort is much apprechiated form my side! 🙂
Excellent your proposal! Thank you so much!
Warm wishes, Stefania! 🙂
Thanks Stefania
Avatar was the first and, by far, the best 3D film I’ve seen. Nothing has ever come close to matching the effect of seeing those tree dandelion things floating in the air in front of you…
I’ll bet. I would love to see it in 3D
One of my all-time favorites. A great way to start off the year Alastair. 🙂
Thank you 🙂
As always, I enjoy your background comments.
