I’ve decided to pick this song as a way of saying goodbye to 2012.
This track was written for a musical. One that was released on vinyl record, then cassette tape before coming out on CD. It has recently been released on the stage. I have found it to be one of the best works of a brilliant Science Fiction author. I have sung the songs in the musical at the top of my voice, and this is one of my favourites. I love the musical and would love to see it on the stage. The musical is Jeff Wayne‘s musical version of H. G. Wells’ War of the Worlds.

I can remember when this was first released… and you can’t beat Richard Burton as the narrator. I always figured that if I were to create this now, I’d get Patrick Stewart to do it 🙂
Yeah, on the youtube page with the Promo someone said it would have been better with Patrick Stewart rather than Liam Neeson 🙂
Liam’s a good choice though… he can do a great British accent at least
