In Folkestone, the next town over from me, they had a “Regeneration” which was needed when they decided to shut the port down and scrap the Hengist and Horsa Sealink ferries. Apparently they weren’t bringing much into the town. Well, as always, after they were shut down, it showed just how much they were bringing in. That regeneration involved statues.
