Night and Day
The day chases the night
It has been so for years
The night wants to be caught
To spend some time with the day
Locked in an endless cycle
seeing each other only briefly
When dusk starts to fall
Or when dawn starts to crack
The solution is almost impossible
Too rare an opportunity
Once maybe twice in a lifetime
Can they both be together at once
Does the day falter and give in
And leave it’s soul for the clouds
Is the dew the tears of the night
Given to the day as a comfort
The day gives the moon to the night
To show that it will always care
Is this a story with no happy end
One where they both have to walk away?

It is nice to be able to cause people to have that reaction. It makes me feel that what I have written has had an effect.
Mind you, sometimes I do make myself wonder. (Not hard that though LOL) Making people think, I like to be able to do that as well π
