I was reading Penny‘s blog post “Can You Hear Me” this morning, and as I was reading it, I got such inspiration that I just HAD to write it down.
I Hear Them Calling
I hear them calling, like it is a game
I hear them calling, like they are calling from tar
I hear them calling, they are calling my name
I hear them calling, calling from afar
I hear them calling, calling in tears
I hear them calling, trying to make me grieve
I hear them calling, from way across the years
I hear them calling, playing make-believe
I hear them calling, from across time and space
I hear them calling, some from beyond the grave
I hear them calling, from a distant place
I hear them calling, telling me to be brave
I hear them calling, as the daylight wanes
I hear them calling, sounds coming between the trees
I hear them calling, saying to ignore the pains
I hear them calling, they are all my memories

I’m just determined to make you Sinclair instead of Alasair, Errrggghhh, again I’m sorry, I guess i didn’t have enough coffee this morning, 🙂
LOL. I just thought you were referring to Alistair Sinclair http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alistair_Sinclair 😀
Well that works too, yes I know who he is, nice save, I think it’s the ending of the name, so similar. 🙂
Think you may be right 🙂
Thanks for understanding! 🙂
😀
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful … summing things up here for you Sinclair! 🙂
Thank you so very much Penny 🙂
The truth is an easy thing to share! 🙂
🙂
I am still impressed that I can write poetry.
The only thing I used to do before was take rhyming words and turn them into something crude. I suppose, then, it’s always been there, I just used it for “evil” for a long while 😉
Well not necessarily a bad thing as long as the “evil” is being purged away! 🙂
I think I’ve got rid of all that “evil” now 🙂
A good thing, think! 🙂
MWAHAHAHAHA ahem. Yes, I think so too 😀
🙂
Nice post ALASTAIR 😉
Penny does have a way about her & throwing inspiration all over the place like candy at a parade doesn’t she?
Thank you Rosy. Yes she does. She has a gift
