I was lucky. It’s a baby, and it was trying to fly forward, but the wind kept it steady
It is so lovely and regale up there in the skies! 🙂
I haven’t checked on today’s photo yet, but I’m hoping it’s the same bird standing on the roof just off of my front balcony. I lot of people dislike seagulls, but they are beautiful creatures.
Last year, a baby fell off of the roof and fell onto next doors balcony. I was feeding it until I was asked (impolitely) to stop as they wanted rid of it and the sooner it died the better. So I got a big towel, and with the help of my son, caught it and kept it on my back balcony for a while. Then when it started trying to fly, we took it to the vets so they could take it to their sanctuary. We called it “Kiwi” because it looked like one 🙂
Of course you did. I am very happy that Kiwi found itself in such loving capable hands. 🙂
