Bank holiday Monday here in the UK, so I went to the shop with my daughter. She had brought some clothes off of the internet and had them delivered to the shop. There wasn’t enough money in her account have them delivered to home, and I think it was a very grown up thing for her to do. She had brought a pair of heeled high-tops and a black top. I am proud of her for doing that.
On the way back, we stopped off at a small river that runs through our town Β to take some photos.

Looks like Christina pretty much covered it all Mondrak. The photograph is beautiful. You are a very proud daddy! Thats a very good thing too, π
Thank you Penny π I am extremely proud of my kids
π
Just gorgeous!! Serene…I wish the river here (which is gorgeous) had more ‘green’. Having grown up in Oregon everything so green and beautiful…even though it rained a LOT…living here in the desert…lots of sagebrush but very little green. Thank you for this…little taste of home! π
π This is right beside a college and is in the middle of town. It is a nice place to stay and look though
π It totally reminds me of the streams…rivers…trees….serenity of the forests in Oregon. Sigh…just beautiful!! π
One thing where I lived a few years ago, there were some nice woods around there there as well. Also it was on top of hills so the views could be spectacular
Sounds positively amazing!!! π
It was, but when it snowed hard we were cut off from everywhere. Which made the kids happy as they were cut off from school lol
LOL I bet!!! I’ve only been stranded a few times by snow…but my eldest daughter is a driver with mad skills and is my designated chauffeur during bad weather…so I guess I wasn’t stranded after all lol!! π
Haha that’s handy π
Oh YES!! She’s my designated slave….as long as I’m paying for her cell phone LOL :p
LMAO
I can get my daughter to do almost anything while I hold her Justin Bieber tickets to ransom hehe. Although driving is probably not a good idea at 14 LOL
LOL….awesome!! Always helpful to have something to barter with!! Driving at 14…no..lol probably not a good idea :p
Last year, my nephew, son and daughter went on go-karts when we went out for the day. She was lapped about six times on an eight lap course lol
LOL Oh no….maybe she’ll be a cautious driver? :p
LOL yeah π
π !!!
I am running out of wonderful adjectives for your pics!! π And I love the story behind this photo!! What a great dad!!
Thanks Rachel π
simply lovely jaunt.. nature and time spend with your daughter
Yep, wasn’t too far away, and she was picking spots for me to photograph π
Nature always makes for great pictures. Thanks for sharing Mondrak!
Thanks Rosy, yes it does.
