This is not the one I have been working on, this is one that jumped out at me for some reason today.
Rejected
The pleas before the grim reaper
Given-up
The power from the life-support machine
Abandoned
Looking down at the coffin
Left
Looking around at everyone else crying
Forsaken
The rain turning everything to mud
Cast-aside
The family of the deceased looking in anguish
Jilted
The widow with the family she had just joined
Dropped
The casket being lowered into the rain-sodden ground
Alone
Not able to talk to anyone about the loss
Realisation
What’s that bright light?

Very deep…..love things that make me thing. It was very powerful and something that stayed with me all day!! How many ways can I tell you how wonderful your work is? Need to break out my Thesaurus! π
LOL Thanks Rachel. I’m glad that it makes a mark. I was worried that it wouldn’t be that good.
Powerfully written….powerful emotions associated with this…well done! Hugs ~
Thank you Christina. Hearing that from you means a great deal. π
interesting and well done
Thank you π
I meant to say now that my friend not fried. lol
Not “Fried friend” then π lol
Weill you can be fried if you want to be! π
LOL. The heat it had been for the last few days, I certainly felt fried π
I understand, Tt was finally wonderful down at the river, not too hot not too cold, just right!!! I hope it cools down for you soon.
It’s down about eight degrees today from what it has been. Thankfully. Cats are so agitated either.
Although a bloody great spider did just go into my daughters room, I’m surprised you didn’t hear the screams over there lol
Sorry about that I am the official spider remover in the house so am familiar with “screams” lol, I grew up on a farm, so no biggy for me. π
LOL. I used to be arachnophobic, but a TV hypnotist did a “thing” on TV where he said he could get rid if your fears. Although he did, and I have no fear of spiders any more, I couldn’t pick that one up as it was so big.
After throwing it off the balcony, I could see it running around in the dark. My daughter will probably have nightmares tonight though π¦
I am sorry about that! I used to talk with the spiders I would find as a child. I thought they seemed rather solitary and lonely. I guess that tells you something about my early years huh! However my brother was 2 years older than me and he pretty much made sure I didn’t have too many spiders friends for very long! π I hope there are no nightmares in your house tonight!
I used to like spiders as a kid, then saw one once and panicked for some reason. After that, I couldn’t even touch the small ones. (Not good when everybody in the house is scared of them)
Hope she doesn’t have any either. She’s gone to bed late tonight (00:40) so hopefully she’ll be too tired.
Going to have an early night myself. Early? Ha! 1am. Well, normally when the kids are on holiday I go to bed about 2am (6pm over there) that way I get some time to relax without teenagers π
I get that. Sleep well Mondrak, have lovely dreams, ok?
Thank you, Penny. You too
Powerful, Strong, emotionally lucid, Creating from the id of you. And with referencing how it just came out – now that my fried is what I’m talking about. Excellent piece Mondrak, Penny
Thank you Penny. I actually started with the “abandoned” part, then “left”, “rejected” and then “given up” but it didn’t look right, it looked too out of synch.
Thank you for comments, it makes me happy to know that people like it.
I am very pleased to be able to comment on your creativity. Especially when it is so good. Keep on doing it!!! π Just got back from the river with the kids, Christina had some real time things to do so it was Jack, Emma and myself. Good times there! π
We have a river fairly near us that I take the kids to sometimes. It’s great being able to do that, no matter what their age
Yes, always! π
A sad reality.
A great post! Keep writing…
Thanks. I don’t even know where that one came from. The only thing I did to alter was to change the order of a couple of them after I finished typing it.
Sometimes I find that blogging or reading other blogs inspire & awaken something from within. Whatever it is – it’s good!
