My daughter did something very naughty over the weekend, so she was grounded. She knew she had done wrong and knew it was serious, so accepted her punishment like an adult. She gave me some of the things she knew she couldn’t have without being asked which, I must admit, did make it difficult to carry on the grounding, but it had been a very serious infraction so required more than a day. In fact, her punishment was due to finish tomorrow when she went to her mum’s house for the weekend.
However, after yesterday’s photo of the day, I told her that I would end her punishment early, if she agreed to be my photo of the day. After I told her what I wanted, she reluctantly agreed. I loved the results. This was my favourite.
