52 Pick Up – Furry and Feathered Friends

Sherene over at Print-Sense posted the challenge of Furry and Feathered Friends in the 52 Pick Up challenge for this week.

There is a story behind this cat. She was not mine to begin with. When I moved from one house to another, I took three cats with me. I was married at the time, so it was myself, my two kids, and three cats. Moving into the new property, this cat kept coming into the house, and I kept putting out. I asked the neighbours where it came from, and they told me that the people who lived there before were evicted, and when they left, they weren’t allowed to take all of their pets, so they left the cat behind for the neighbours to feed and look after. After a two-three weeks of keep putting her out, I came to the conclusion that she was living there before us, so she had as much right to the house as we did. I let her move in, and even the other cats allowed her in. I have moved a couple of times since then, and made sure she came with me. I couldn’t leave her behind, she’s too gorgeous.

Robin Gibb dies.

One of the greatest musicians of all time has died. With him and his brothers, he was part of one of the most successful family bands in history. The Bee Gees wrote music for so many people as well as themselves. People he wrote music for include Diana Ross, Dione Warwick, Celine Dion, Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers.  Songs for Bee Gees include massive hits like Tragedy ans Staying Alive. He was 62 and had been battling cancer for a long time.

Rest In Peace, Robin Gibb
