Sherene over at Print-Sense posted the challenge of Furry and Feathered Friends in the 52 Pick Up challenge for this week.
There is a story behind this cat. She was not mine to begin with. When I moved from one house to another, I took three cats with me. I was married at the time, so it was myself, my two kids, and three cats. Moving into the new property, this cat kept coming into the house, and I kept putting out. I asked the neighbours where it came from, and they told me that the people who lived there before were evicted, and when they left, they weren’t allowed to take all of their pets, so they left the cat behind for the neighbours to feed and look after. After a two-three weeks of keep putting her out, I came to the conclusion that she was living there before us, so she had as much right to the house as we did. I let her move in, and even the other cats allowed her in. I have moved a couple of times since then, and made sure she came with me. I couldn’t leave her behind, she’s too gorgeous.

I want to eat that kitty! How adorable. The little furry reminds me of my sweet little departed kitties. They were torties too. Just love their sweet faces. Nuzzle this one for me, will ya?
By the way, people who love a little abandoned kitty like you do have a special place in heaven.
Thank you 🙂 For once, she is not parked on the arm of the chair with me. I think she wants food 😉

Lovely story, and a gorgeous cat! How is she doing these days? Any more pictures? 🙂
She is really photogenic, so I tend to take quite a few of her. There is one from my photo a day in February.

She is lovely! Thank you so much for sharing your photo and story in this week’s challenge ~ Sherene
What a great picture, beautiful cat and wonderful story!!! Thanks for sharing and I’m so glad I popped over here. Have a great Sunday!
Thanks 🙂 Hope you have a good day too
You kind kind man! What’s she called?
Her name is Tabitha. Not what I would have called her as I have already had a cat called Tabitha/Tabby and I don’t usually have two animals with the same name.
Awww, I am thinking of going to a place called foal farrm to see about getting another semi long haired, Tibbs is bigger than most small dogs and got to admit I love having a long haired cat… however saying that cats choose you rather than the other way round.. 🙂
Which is why I think that she has been happy to stick with me. Having moved up and down the country, she still sits beside me purring and dribbling. 🙂
LMAO… My older cat that has passed now, used to sit and dribble and purr so loud… I still miss her, but yes she is happy with you and you are a good cat owner..:)
Thank you 🙂
