I caught sight of these on my way to the supermarket today, and I just had to take a picture of them, seeing as it is illegal to pick them in this country.

Orchids
I love Orchids, although I must say, I have a hard job keeping them alive. I brought another two today, as they were at a reduced price in Marks & Spencer, and I had a £50 gift voucher spare due to signing up with Sky again. Here’s four of the other photos I took today when trying to get my photo of the day…
EDIT: I’ve been given some advice on how to keep them alive, so I’m going to try that and see if it works – water them once a fortnight, and sit them in lukewarm water for two minutes then let the water drain off. When the flowers are gone, cut the stem down to the next nobbly bit and they should come back.

I brought a couple more Orchids today, in the vain hope that I can actually keep my favourite plant alive for more than a few weeks. Doubt that I can, but miracles do happen.
